Got a letter from the IRS? Talk to a CPA before you respond.

I help individuals and small business owners deal with IRS and state tax notices, back taxes, unfiled returns, and payment plans. You'll get a clear explanation of where you stand and what your options are, in plain language.

We speak English. Nou pale Kreyòl. Nous parlons français.

Look at the top right corner of your letter. If you see one of these numbers, call before the deadline on the notice.

IRS and state tax problems

Problems I help with

  • IRS and state notices

Understanding what the letter means, whether it is correct, and how to respond on time.

  • Back taxes and tax debt

Reviewing what you owe and the options available for paying it down.

  • Unfiled tax returns

Getting missing years filed, even if your records are incomplete.

  • Payment plans

Setting up installment agreements with the IRS or the state.

  • Liens, levies, and garnishments

Responding to collection action on your bank account, wages, or property.

  • Penalty relief

Requesting removal of penalties when you qualify.

What happens when you call

Three steps

  1. We review your situation

Tell me what happened and send the notice if you have it. You don't need everything organized first.

  2. I explain your options

You'll know what you're facing, what each option involves, and what it would cost before you decide.

  3. I represent you with the IRS

With your authorization, I can speak to the IRS for you, file what's missing, and handle the follow-up.

Questions

Common questions

I haven't filed taxes in years. Is it too late?

No. Filing late is almost always better than not filing. We'll figure out which years need to be filed and get your records together, even if some documents are missing.

Can you stop IRS collection?

Collection action can often be paused or resolved through a payment plan or other arrangement, depending on your situation. I'll tell you honestly what's realistic after reviewing your case.

Can I get on a payment plan?

Many taxpayers qualify for an installment agreement. We'll look at what you owe and what you can afford, then set up the plan that fits.

Do I need to meet in person?

No. You can meet at the Irvington office or work with me remotely by phone and video, wherever you are in the states I serve.

Can I speak Kreyòl or French with you?

Yes. You can explain your situation in whichever language you're most comfortable with.
